About the owner of Shotcrete Unlimited

Isaac Brumaghim

01 — Getting started

Isaac's construction career began in 2018, when a friend brought him in to the trade. His first job was shovel man — a starting point he remembers with a laugh: "I don't miss it."

That entry-level start grew into eight years of hands-on construction experience, project leadership, and technical expertise.

02 — Experience

Years across many disciplines give Isaac a broad understanding of how a project comes together, from excavation to finish. He believes being well-rounded creates more ways to serve clients — and that his team's precision and craftsmanship deserve to be matched with the right projects.

  • Pool construction & remodeling
  • Structural wall construction
  • Shotcrete applications
  • Concrete demolition & excavation
  • Concrete staining
  • Complex lift operations
  • Mountainside rappelling operations
  • Foreman responsibilities
  • Project management
  • Estimating

03 — Career highlights

ACI certified, Isaac has contributed to notable work across Hawai‘i:

  • Waimea Canyon rock sculpting
  • Ritz-Carlton pool remodel
  • Kamehameha Schools rock sculpting
  • Sinclair Library vertical wall shotcrete
  • Many more

04 — How we work

"We bid the jobs, win them, and show up on site ourselves — no middlemen, no excuses."

The team brings years of experience working alongside highly skilled crews in Hawai‘i. The approach is simple: precision, accountability, pride in the craft, and personal responsibility for the finished product.

Organization, communication, and transparency keep every client relationship on solid footing.

Personal

A DIFFRENT KIND OF CRAFT

Away from the jobsite

On the water

Early mornings, open ocean, and a level of patience few truly understand. Hours spent waiting for a strike, followed by moments that demand complete focus, instinct, and experience to bring in the catch.

To Isaac, kayak fishing is more than a hobby. It's a passion, an ancestral connection, and a way to provide for his family and community. Rooted in his Hawaiian heritage, his connection to the ocean represents a way of life built on patience, perseverance, and respect for the waters that have sustained generations before him.

Far from the noise of the jobsite, the ocean offers something different — a place to challenge himself, embrace the elements, and stay connected to the traditions and values that shaped who he is today.

Lesson of the sea

Away from the demands of the jobsite, the open ocean offers Isaac a sense of peace and clarity. Kayak fishing has taught him the value of patience, preparation, and knowing when to act. It's a balance of calm and intensity, where success can't be rushed or forced. That same discipline, focus, and respect for the process carry into his work, where every detail matters.
